AUSTIN, Texas — We hope your Mother’s Day has gone well so far!
We did have a good soaking of rain earlier on Sunday morning as a wake low came off of the coast and passed through sections of the Coastal Plains. However, for Sunday evening into the overnight, we expect to stay mostly dry and muggy with lows dropping into the upper 60s.
We’re tracking a mostly dry Monday, save for later in the afternoon when another disturbance comes in and some scattered storms are possible through the evening and overnight. We get to the lower 80s again on Tuesday with similar conditions.
Afterwards, we’re tracking another drying trend into a warmup as we head into the middle and latter portions of the week. Expect upper 80s for highs and mostly sunny skies, although we could add a few clouds as we head into the weekend with low to mid-80s for highs and only a modest 10% rain chance so far.
To all the loyal KVUE-watching moms, Happy Mother’s Day!
